I'm not that good with numbers. I did maths B in high school - and should the government ever change the GST from 10% to .. say .. 11% - my mind will explode. But you might like my creative counting here.
Yesterday was a long day. The day before was long too - but yesterday EXtremely long. I started at 4.30am and finished at 1.30am. That is 21 hours. But, here's where I get creative with numbers and get to the big 126.
You see, I have worked those hours many moons ago when I was a spring chicken. But I figure computers go twice as fast as they used to - so that is 21 x 2 = 42. But, I am also much quicker at doing what I do - as I have been doing it so darn long. At least 3 times as fast. So that makes it 42 x 3 = 126. So, I worked 126 hours yesterday. Phew, no wonder I am tired.
This post is just for me really. Just so I don't lose this stunningly perfect bathroom. I found this via Suze's Dwellers Without Decorators blog tonight (thanks a bundle Suze!!!) as part of her before/after post. Man, you gotta love a before/after. Man, I can't wait until we have our own before/after bathroom.
Tomorrow is Bloggers Day of Silence, to highlight a charity set up to donate money for emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies following the terrible events in Japan. We are all aware of the destruction the earthquake and tsunami caused - but the disaster will last a very long time and, with people losing everything - their lives, their loved ones, their homes - every little bit helps. Go visit the 'For Japan With Love' site to donate.
I found this via Dana's Yellowtrace blog.

There are sooo many things I want to post on. So many things I have found - or am inspired by - or really, just great things I think you would all like to know. But, alas, I am just not finding the time to blog at all. For now I will leave you with 2 new fake OEKE images I just did - and this link to an inspiring story of how 2 generations of the one family are forging through to fulfill a dream. I loved every word of it and it gave me hope for my little OEKE umbrellas. I promise to try and come back soon OK. Hope you are all well (-:
