I found this company .. Sparrow & Co .. a Scottish firm making unique, handcrafted items via Pitch Design Union (a very, very inspiration filled graphic blog) this morning. The items Samuel Sparrow makes are lovely enough, but I must admit to loving the pics he uses to promote & display his products. As it is a little dreary weather-wise here today, they just seem to fit my mood. The candles seem romantic, the cushions look extra comfy .. and that driftwood heart just makes mine fall in love even more.

Hope you are all having a great Easter long weekend ..

  1. Since trying to take pictures for my own blog, I've really come to appreciate the photographers of interiors or items like these. Everything is beautiful but the composition of the pictures really adds. Happy Easter!

  4. Beautiful stuff. I love anything made from driftwood, in fact I am almost obsessed with it at the moment! I'm using it for stair handrails in one of my coastal projects, so I am zeroing in on any images which use it!

Lovely textures and colours in this collection.

I had a wonderfully relaxing Easter, thank you! And I hope you did too? My little one went back to primary school today, the year 12 student is back tomorrow, and my eldest goes back to uni next week. THEN life will feel back to normal again!

  5. Linda (from OEKE!) it's been forever and a day... how exciting to pop over here and see how industrious you've been - I like the new layout, it's so dynamic. Also, thank you so much for your gorgeous comment - I've seen your comments elsewhere (Yellowtrace, Diversion Project) and you write so well it *feels* like a 'Linda Hug' which can make all the difference on a tiring Monday afternoon. Also, this link to Sparrow & Co, is amazing! I lovelovelove their stuff - thank you for the heads up.

I hope you're well? Catch up soON (as my new assistant settles in and life resumes...)
