I just found this Brooklyn illustrator called C.S. NEAL (as in Chris Silas Neal) and I think he may have popped into my head. Some of these samples from his site are just what I need to see. The one titled 'For Pete's Sake, Stop Worrying' made me giggle. I think I wasted 2 weeks of my life worrying about how to maintain this blog - when really, it is a fun thing. The orange lady with the pills is definately me too - as in 'take a chill pill' - (especially as I put some fake tan on and look a tad 'overcooked').
Now, I did find this link via another blog, but now I have lost that blog. It was just in their list of blogs they follow (and not a post) so please, if it is you - let me know and I will credit (-:

really cool!

Linda, thank you so much for your lovely words about Ben's work..that was so very kind of you. And apropos your last post...you have stuff on your blog that no-one else does...so please keep going :)
ReplyDeleteHi there - so nice to meet you. I'm glad you've decided to continue, even just a little. Would be sad to lose a kindred spirit when we've just met!
ReplyDeleteSee it's not so hard....some of the blogs can be intimidating...I know but those often have a certain sameness...NOT YOU! Keep going...hugs heather
ReplyDeleteThose are lovely. I feel overwhelmed of late too, and your last post actually made me feel a little better and ready the other comments reminded me that we are essentially all living the same life, with slightly different details. I admire your honesty and I'm pleased to see you're still here.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to go and post something now, because if you can, then, so can I.
